Firm takes on property specialist

Property specialist Michelle Moore has joined the litigation department of national firm Roythornes Solicitors after completing her training contract with the firm.

Michelle qualified as a solicitor on 1 June, after joining Roythornes as a residential conveyancing paralegal in 2014. Working under associate Sarah Whitehurst, she carried out her two-year training contract in the litigation department, handling professional negligence claims, contentious probate matters and boundary disputes. She has now been offered a full-time position in the firm’s Spalding office, primarily focusing on property litigation.

Michelle said: ‘I’m really pleased to be able to continue my work at Roythornes and to have been offered a permanent role at the firm. There has been several years of hard work to reach this point, but the team have been incredibly supportive throughout my training.

‘Roythornes really took into account my desired specialisms and interests, and training contract was built round my ambition to qualify as a solicitor in the property litigation team. I am thrilled to have now achieved this goal.’

Managing director Vember Mortlock added: ‘We’re delighted Michelle has agreed to join the firm following her qualification as a solicitor. Throughout her training, she has demonstrated the utmost commitment to our clients, which is essential to who we are as a firm.

‘We’re incredibly proud of the training opportunities we offer for aspiring legal professionals and I’m confident Michelle will continue to be a real asset to our well-respected property litigation team. I look forward to seeing her continued career progression within the firm.’
