Three new partners & an associate in promotion round

Midlands firm Roythornes Solicitors has announced the internal promotions of four of its members. Agricultural property specialists Alice Lees (right) and Emma Hill (second left) and commercial property lawyer Iain Hibbert (left) have now moved to partner positions, while Kelly Eagers (second right) of the commercial and residential property teams has been promoted to associate.

Commenting on her new position, Alice said: ‘Emma and I both joined Roythornes almost ten years ago as paralegals so it’s really great that we are taking this career step together. I think we are both ready to take on the additional responsibility and challenges that come with being a partner at the firm and look forward to managing our own teams.’

Emma added: ‘We work closely together in the agricultural property sector and we have some great clients. I think the aspect of my promotion that I’m most looking forward to is continuing to build those client relationships.’

Roythornes’ managing director Vember Mortlock also commented: ‘Alice, Emma, Iain and Kelly’s work ethics and commitment to the firm has been exemplary and I am delighted to announce their new positions in the firm. Their knowledge and talent has been invaluable when managing client activity and I have no doubt they will each fully utilise their outstanding skillsets in their new roles.

‘These promotions mark a genuine milestone in the careers of each of those promoted and I join the team in wishing them well in the next stage in their respective careers.’
