Ruby Giblin—Winckworth Sherwood

Firm strengthens market-leading social housing finance team

Law firm Winckworth Sherwood has strengthened its market-leading social housing finance team with the appointment of a new partner, Ruby Giblin.

Ruby joined the firm on 9 January 2017 from Clifford Chance, where she was a senior associate in its real estate finance team. She has a strong and respected track record of over 25 years in acting for lenders and facilitators to social housing providers and their related entities. She brings to the firm a deep understanding of the social housing lending market and a wealth of specialist experience.

Commenting on her appointment Ruby said: “Winckworth Sherwood is recognised and respected as a leading social housing law firm in the UK. It acts for all of the major players and has been behind some of the most innovative schemes to emerge over the past decade. I am delighted to be joining the team as a partner and look forward to continuing to develop my practice.”
