Family and children team welcomes back returning partner

Russell-Cooke has welcomed back leading family law specialist and mediator Lauren Hall as a partner in its family and children team. Hall rejoins the firm after leading the international children practice at Osbornes Law, where she was a partner. She is widely recognised for her expertise in complex international child abduction cases and high-conflict family disputes, and is ranked in both Chambers and Legal 500.

Hall said she was ‘really pleased to be returning to Russell-Cooke’, describing the firm as one that ‘aligns with both my professional ethos and my commitment to constructive family law practice’. She added: ‘I’m looking forward to collaborating again with the brilliant team here and continuing to support families through what are often incredibly difficult periods in their lives.’

Her return follows a series of strategic hires in the family team, including partners Katie Longmate and Rachel Donald, and the recent return of senior associate James Sandiford. Hannah Field, partner in the family and children team, said: ‘We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Lauren back. Her reputation for combining clarity with compassion is well earned.’

Hall’s arrival brings the number of partners in the family and children team to nine, reinforcing Russell-Cooke’s position as one of London’s leading family law practices. The team advises on a wide range of matters including divorce, cohabitation, financial remedies, private children issues, and surrogacy and fertility law.
