Sackers—John Card

Pensions firm announces hire in project management team

Sacker & Partners has appointed John Card as a project manager, joining its established project management team. The hire supports the firm’s continued focus on delivering complex pensions projects for clients across the market.

Card brings 20 years’ experience gained in pensions administration, analyst and operations roles, with extensive defined benefit pensions and project expertise. He joins from Just Group, having previously held senior roles at Equiniti.

Elizabeth Nolan, head of project management at Sackers, said that ‘specialist pensions knowledge is key to the successful delivery of the projects we work on for our clients’, adding that the recruitment of Card, alongside Derek Obeng who joined in 2025, ‘demonstrates the further development of our project management team’.

David Saunders, senior partner at Sackers, said it is ‘great to see the evolution of our project management team’, adding that the experience Card and Obeng bring ‘will really help us to deliver the high level of service our clients have come to expect from us’.
