Firm expands employment law team with strategic hires

Shakespeare Martineau has expanded its employment law team to meet rising client demand, welcoming six new legal experts across its offices.

Lucinda Chaplin joins as a legal director in Nottingham, bringing experience from Browne Jacobson. She expressed excitement about joining a firm known for its 'people-focused approach' and aims to 'further develop the firm’s footprint in the region.'

In Birmingham, Alexandria Davis and Luke Bernard have been appointed. Alexandria comes from White & Case LLP, while Luke transitions from Shoosmiths. Morgan Lloyd and Arif Rahman join the team in Bristol and Leicester, respectively, with Arif returning to the firm after gaining experience at Weightmans. Ellen Abrahall has also qualified into the employment team in Birmingham.

David Browne, head of employment law at Shakespeare Martineau, said: 'We are delighted to welcome Lucinda, Alexandria, Luke, Morgan, Arif and Ellen to our growing team.
