Legal professionals are a happy bunch

It may come as a surprise to some, but solicitors are among the happiest workers in the UK, according to a survey by specialist recruiters Randstad Financial & Professional. While the national average of happiness lies at 61%, 79% of lawyers described themselves as happy or extremely happy in their jobs. However, the survey also revealed that those in the profession are less happy with their current pay, with only 55% extremely happy or happy, although this is still above the UK average of 43%.
