Schools and educational establishments in the Westcountry will be a priority for legal firm Stephens Scown with the creation of a new team of solicitors for the sector.

The group will provide a dedicated team in the region, providing legal services to head teachers and school governors.

Associate Helen Furneaux will head up the team which will offer advice, including conversion to academy status, employment and staffing issues, dispute resolution, financing and joint ventures.
