Family firm adds to its London offering

Specialist firm Stowe Family Law has added a new name to its London office, solicitor Roz Lidder. She joins the firm after two and a half years at Slater & Gordon, and offers a high degree of specialisation in family matters.

Roz’s particular area of expertise is divorce cases, with experience including divorces and separations involving complex financial agreements. She also regularly advises on other family matters including child disputes, cohabitation issues and domestic violence cases. Roz is also a member of legal organisation Resolution, which promotes non-confrontational approaches to family issues.

Commenting on her appointment, Roz said: ‘This is a firm with a sterling national reputation and I am delighted to be given the chance to help clients resolve their problems and family disputes during what may be one of the most difficult times in their lives.’

Stowe Family Law has 14 offices across England, four of which—Bristol, Esher, Beverley and Manchester—were opened in the last 12 months. Roz is the 13th lawyer to join the firm’s London office, and Stowe now boasts around 50 solicitors overall. Its senior partner Julian Hawkhead said: ‘The fact that our sole dedication is to the delivery of the very best family law service is a very powerful message to solicitors who want to join the firm. We have the resources and commitment to continue to provide a culture of opportunity where our family lawyers are able to develop their skills and experience in a supportive and encouraging environment.’
