Firm marks start of year with firmwide promotions round

Switalskis has announced 11 firmwide promotions across its legal and support teams, recognising expertise and performance demonstrated over the past year. The promotions span senior associate and associate levels and reflect progression through the firm’s Career Development Programme.

Four colleagues have been promoted to senior associate: Briony Ely in the conveyancing team, Ros Raine in the development team, Sandra Kowalska in contentious probate, and Sarah Myatt in the crime department. A further seven colleagues move up to associate roles across residential conveyancing, Court of Protection (health & welfare), care, clinical negligence, development and people teams.

Ruth Coneron, chair of the career development programme, said it is ‘incredibly rewarding to see the hard work and dedication of our colleagues recognised’, adding that the programme provides ‘a clear path to progression’ and supports people in taking ‘that next step’.

Chief executive John Durkan said the promotions ‘showcase the depth of talent within our firm’, adding: ‘Our people are central to everything we do, and their commitment ensures we continue delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.’
