Taylor Rose—Jessica Draganescu & Emily Hewlett

Firm strengthens growth strategy and group litigation capability with senior hires

Taylor Rose has made two senior appointments as part of its continued investment in growth and specialist expertise, naming Jessica Draganescu as head of new business and Emily Hewlett as lead partner in group litigation. The hires reflect the firm’s focus on expanding into new markets while building out its capabilities in complex disputes.

Draganescu (pictured, left) will lead the firm’s new business and growth strategy, with responsibility for driving revenue, strengthening partnerships and developing a scalable pipeline across property and non-property workstreams. She joins with more than a decade of experience in the property and legal services sector, including leadership roles at Purplebricks, Yopa and Simply Conveyancing, where she oversaw large-scale commercial transformation programmes.

Hewlett (right), who joined the firm as a partner in February 2026, takes on a leadership role in the group litigation division. She brings extensive experience in large-scale claims, having previously worked at Pogust Goodhead on the Mariana v BHP case involving around 600,000 claimants. Her practice includes international environmental law, and she will focus on expanding the firm’s group litigation offering, particularly in consumer rights and mis-selling claims.

Chief executive Adrian Jaggard said: ‘These appointments reflect a coordinated investment in both the commercial engine of the firm and the depth of our legal expertise,’ adding that ‘together, these appointments enhance our ability to deliver a broader, more integrated offering’.
