Tees Law—three appointments

Medical negligence team welcomes three

East of England firm Tees Law has expanded its medical negligence team with the appointment of three solicitors—Natalie Pibworth, Craig Knightley and James Sherwin.

Natalie and Craig have joined the firm’s Chelmsford office as senior associate and associate respectively. Previously a member of Powell & Company and Withy King LLP, Natalie specialises in medical negligence including orthopaedic injuries, negligence by GPs and negligent surgery. Craig, who has joined from Attwaters Jameson Hill, has particular experience in birth injury cases, as well as claims stemming from a failure to diagnose and treat serious conditions.

In the Bishop’s Stortford office, James has joined as an associate from Hudgell Solicitors where he acted as head of clinical negligence. He handles a wide range of clinical negligence cases, including orthopaedic injuries, complex bowel perforation cases, ophthalmic cases and fatal claims.

Janine Collier, head of the firm’s medical negligence department, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome our new solicitors to the team, all of whom bring considerable expertise to our ranks and will enable us to offer an even higher level of service to our clients. Medical negligence is a complex and sensitive field requiring lawyers of the very highest calibre; I’m very confident that Craig, Natalie and James will rise admirably to the challenge.’
