Tees boosts company & commercial team with new partner

Richard Payne has joined Essex-firm Tees as a partner in its Chelmsford office.

Richard has more than 25 years’ experience in company and commercial law. He has previously worked at an international law firm in London, and been a partner at a regional law firm in Essex. Most recently, he advised Xpediator PLC, a leading Essex-based provider of freight management services across the UK and Europe, on its successful IPO and admission to trading on the AIM market.

His clients include publicly quoted and private companies, entrepreneurs, business owners and family-owned businesses, as well as private equity investors and management teams, banks and financial institutions.

Richard said: ‘I am excited to be joining the team at Tees as it’s a firm with a wealth of expertise and an excellent range of clients across many different sectors. The company and commercial team is a key strength of the firm, and I look forward to supporting and building upon a growing client base.’
