Three join family, private client and corporate teams

Kent and London law firm Thackray Williams has welcomed three senior legal professionals across its family, private client and corporate & commercial teams. The appointments of partner Kevin Bristow, senior associate Sam Corse and associate Will King reflect the firm’s commitment to delivering holistic legal services and supporting its growing client base.

Kevin (pictured, left) joins the family team with three decades of experience, including high-net-worth divorce matters and complex private children work. ‘The opportunity to join Thackray Williams’ existing leading family team was exciting,’ he said. He praised the firm’s multi-office model and growth ambition, noting these would benefit his London and Kent-based clients.

Sam (centre) brings nine years’ experience in private client services, with a focus on high-value estates, tax planning, and contentious probate. ‘The care and support they have for their staff and clients was very apparent,’ he said, adding he was ‘very excited to work with such lawyers in the team’. His arrival bolsters a team that saw 14% growth in the last financial year.

Will (right) joins the corporate & commercial team with expertise in M&A, corporate restructuring and intellectual property. He described Thackray Williams as having ‘a great people-focused culture intent on delivering the best results’.

Last year, the wider commercial sector contributed 25% of firm turnover, and the firm reported a record 16.5% year-on-year increase in revenue during a leadership transition led by new managing partners.
