The Compliance Office—Jennifer Dunlop

Former SRA solicitor announced as managing director of compliance consultancy
The Compliance Office, an SRA and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance consultancy, has appointed Jennifer Dunlop, as its new managing director. She succeeds founder Andrew Donovan, who will remain with the firm as a consultant.

Jennifer joined The Compliance Office over four years ago and has held key roles, including head of compliance consultancy and consultancy services manager. She brings significant regulatory experience, having previously served for more than eight years at the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) as a case manager and solicitor within the legal department. Her earlier career includes over six years in private practice as a solicitor specialising in litigation.

Jennifer Dunlop commented on her appointment: 'With regulatory expectations continuing to evolve, law firms need to be more proactive than ever in managing risk. I’m looking forward to leading our team as we continue to provide practical, informed support to firms navigating an increasingly complex compliance environment.'

Andrew Donovan, who founded The Compliance Office in 2014, added: 'Jennifer has played a central role in building our consultancy and guiding clients through regulatory challenges. Her background at the SRA and her deep understanding of our clients’ needs make her exceptionally well placed to lead the firm into its next chapter.'
