Tool rolled out for collaborative conveyancing

Legal IT supplier InfoTrack has launched a conveyancing tool that speeds up the pre-contract enquiries stage by allowing both sides to collaborate in one shared workspace

The tool, Linked Enquiries, can be used regardless of whether the other party is an InfoTrack client, via a free guest pass. Conveyancers can then avoid lengthy email chains and manual copying and pasting.

When a firm publishes enquiries, it invites the counterparty to join the workspace using a secure code. Once connected, both sides see identical, real-time updates of all enquiries, responses and attachments. A time-stamped audit trail shows who said what and when, providing clear evidence of the conversation between both parties.

Scott Bozinis, chief executive officer at InfoTrack UK, said the tool gives ‘both sides the visibility and control needed to keep transactions moving’.
