SRA launches 12-week consultation into education & training regulation
The Solicitors Regulation Authority has launched a 12-week consultation on changes to its education and training regulations. It focuses on removing bureaucracy, and comprises seven proposals, including the removal of complex exemption arrangements and the replacement of student enrolment with a targeted approach to dealing with character and suitability issues. The consultation, Training for Tomorrow: regulation review, closes on 25 February 2014.
