TUPE guidance

In brief

New guidance to help organisations comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 when providing information about their employees under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE) has been issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office. Details of pay, contracted hours, holiday entitlement and details of disciplinary or grievance action relating to an employee must be transferred to a new employer under TUPE.
