Ward Hadaway—22 promotions

Two new partners among promotions announced across firm's offices

Ward Hadaway has promoted James Donnelly and Oliver Bagnall to partner as part of its latest round of senior appointments. Donnelly, in the health and care advisory team in Newcastle, and Bagnall, in the housing team in Manchester, are among 22 lawyers elevated across the firm’s three offices. ‘It’s an exciting time to be part of Ward Hadaway,’ says Donnelly.

The promotions span multiple practice areas, including construction, insolvency, real estate, employment, and litigation, reflecting the firm’s investment in talent. Managing partner Steven Petrie highlights the firm’s commitment to growth, stating, ‘We’re focused on ensuring Ward Hadaway remains the place to grow, and we’re excited to see what this group will achieve in their new roles.’

The firm’s expansion strategy continues with the opening of a new Birmingham office and merger plans with The Endeavour Partnership. Bagnall adds, ‘Ward Hadaway has been a brilliant place to develop my career, and I’m proud to be part of its future direction.’
