Wedlake Bell

Firm makes double partner promotion

Wedlake Bell has announced the promotions of two of its team members to partner, bringing the total number of partners in the firm to 59.

The first new partner, Alison Hills, has been with the firm since she joined as a trainee in 2007. She specialises in handling pensions matters, having advised on a wide range of pensions schemes as well as dealing with auto-enrolment issues and historic errors in scheme documentation.

Jonathan Achampong, the second new addition to the partnership, has been with Wedlake Bell since 2013, where he focuses his practice on residential property law. His transactional experience includes advising high net worth individuals on the sale and purchase of central London properties, and he also offers niche expertise in leasehold enfranchisement.

Managing partner Martin Arnold stated: ‘I speak for the entire firm when I extend my congratulations to both Alison and Jonathan on their appointments as partners. It is always rewarding to see our talented lawyers flourish and be recognised for their hard work. These promotions demonstrate Wedlake Bell’s commitment to organically growing internal talent as well as strategic external hires based on merit and achievements.’
