Winckworth Sherwood has appointed Charlie Hancock as partner in its private wealth and tax team. He joined the firm on 19 January from Forsters, bringing a strong track record advising owners of landed estates, business owners and wealthy individuals and their families.
Hancock is recognised by Legal 500 as a ‘rising star’ and is noted for expertise across private client and tax work, including wills, trusts, probate, wealth transfer and philanthropy. His arrival follows the recent appointment of Arcangelo D’Apolito, who also joined the firm on 19 January.
On joining, Hancock said: ‘It is a privilege to become a partner at Winckworth Sherwood,’ adding that the private client team is ‘widely recognised for its technical expertise’. Richard Tinham, managing partner, said: ‘We are delighted by Charlie’s decision to join the firm,’ noting continued investment as ‘demand for highly experienced and personalised support continues to grow’.
