Winckworth Sherwood—Rubianka Winspear

Real estate and construction energy offering boosted by partner hire

Winckworth Sherwood has appointed Rubianka Winspear as a partner, strengthening its real estate and construction energy capabilities as demand grows for specialist advice in decarbonisation and energy infrastructure. She joined the firm on 20 April from Trowers & Hamlins, where she was a senior associate in the energy and sustainability team.

Winspear brings expertise across energy law, including heating and cooling systems, renewable energy programmes and utility connections for large-scale commercial and residential developments. She will advise on the energy aspects of real estate projects, with particular knowledge of the newly regulated heat network market, ESCO concessions, electric vehicle charging and wider energy efficiency initiatives.

She said: ‘Winckworth Sherwood is recognised as a market leader in the real estate and social housing sectors… I am looking forward to starting at Winckworth Sherwood and providing a targeted energy offering to clients in a way that builds upon the existing strengths of the firm.’

Richard Tinham, managing partner, added: ‘Rubi is a terrific appointment bringing the deep specialist expertise our clients increasingly need. We look forward to working alongside her and to the contributions she will bring.’
