Firm boosts real estate development team with partner hire

Winckworth Sherwood has announced the appointment of Sarbjeet Gill as a partner in its real estate development team. She joins the firm from Gateley, where she was a partner in the real estate team, and took up her new role at the beginning of February.

Gill brings extensive experience advising many of the UK’s largest housebuilders, acting on site acquisitions, disposals and build to rent schemes. Her practice includes work on complex and large-scale developments, strategic partnerships and joint venture structures.

Commenting on her move, Gill said: ‘Winckworth Sherwood is a genuine leader in the real estate market’, highlighting the firm’s ‘particular expertise in complex and large scale sites’.

Richard Tinham, managing partner at Winckworth Sherwood, said: ‘We are delighted that Sarb has chosen to join the firm’, adding that her Midlands market presence and credentials ‘align perfectly with our commitment to strategic growth’.
