Immigration team welcomes partner

International law firm Withers has boosted the ranks of its UK immigration team with the arrival of new partner Nicolette Bostock in London. Nicolette joins the firm from immigration boutique Laura Devine Immigration.

Nicolette advises on a wide range of issues relating to international movement and has helped many clients with complex visa and residency applications. She provides strategic advice that is bespoke to each client's situation, delivering immigration solutions in a timely manner.

Nicolette has broad experience of working with private individuals, multinational organisations, well-known brands and family offices. She increasingly works with clients in the new economy, including senior talent in the technology and venture capital industries, as well as advising individuals and businesses from the creative, legal, manufacturing, sporting, finance, hospitality, publishing, education and entertainment sectors.

Tracy Evlogidis, head of Withers' UK Immigration team, comments: 'International movement is so important to our clients, their families and their businesses, and it's essential that we give them the best advice and find ways to solve their problems. Bringing Nicolette into the team gives us additional strengths and capacity to meet our clients' needs and to continue to offer bespoke solutions and a top tier level of service. In addition, she is a leading voice in the development of immigration law and a popular choice for training other professionals.'

Nicolette adds: 'I'm hugely excited to join Tracy and the team at Withers to continue building on the successes of the international immigration practice. The team's expertise is well recognised and I look forward to working with such a strong network of immigration specialists around the world.'

Withers has also expanded its Boston-based intellectual property and venture capital team with the addition of corporate partner Alex Khalarian. Alex has broad experience with transactional matters, particularly with respect to M&A (ranging from mergers to stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions), as well as advising clients on general corporate matters. While Alex works across all industries, his clients are predominantly tech and life sciences businesses.
