Firm recruits competition expert

Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has announced the arrival of Andrij Jurkiw as partner and head of the competition practice.

Andrij was formerly the head of competition at Mishcon de Reya, where he was a partner for over five years. He is highly experienced across the competition law field, regularly handling transactional issues such as merger filings as well as investigations and competition litigation. He is adept at working with a wide range of sectors on competition matters, including consumer goods, food, pharmaceuticals, technology and transport.

WBD’s head of commercial Paula Bartlett stated: ‘We are extremely delighted to have Andrij joining us at Womble Bond Dickinson with his huge array of competition experience in many of our key sectors.
