Wright Hassall—five promotions

Firm announces five promotions, including new partner

Leamington-based law firm Wright Hassall has confirmed a series of promotions, with five lawyers stepping up across the business. The promotions include the appointment of Parminder Takhar as partner in the commercial litigation team, alongside promotions for Emily-Jade Hodson, Mamoona Hussain and Charlotte Kahrman to associate, and Dionne Russell to chartered executive.

Takhar specialises in contractual and corporate disputes spanning director, shareholder and partnership issues, restrictive covenants, insurance and regulatory breaches. He has handled complex, high-value claims in the High Court, including injunctive proceedings, and has acted in regulatory disputes in the criminal courts covering health and safety breaches and corporate fraud.

Emily-Jade Hodson, also in commercial litigation, works on contentious matters including breach of contract and intellectual property disputes. From the commercial real estate team, Mamoona Hussain advises on real estate and leasehold management, drawing on experience in development and infrastructure projects. Charlotte Kahrman, in contentious probate, focuses on disputes around wills, trusts and estates, while Dionne Russell works in business immigration, providing solutions to complex immigration challenges.

Phil Wilding, managing partner, said: ‘Each one reflects not only their exceptional performance and professionalism, but also their alignment with the business’s core values of flexibility, ambition, inclusivity, and respect.’ He added: ‘I would like to congratulate everyone who has been promoted and thank them for their continued contribution to the success of the business. I also look forward to working closely with Parminder as he is welcomed into the partnership.’
