Addleshaw Goddard has recently hired Paul Ferguson as a partner within its international commercial disputes team. Paul, who will be based in AG's London office, joins the firm from global litigation practice, Ontier LLP, where he was Head of Litigation.
Paul's practice is centred around claims involving digital assets, cryptocurrencies, online trading platforms and the recovery of assets from related cyber-crime. Paul has advised clients in substantial multijurisdictional commercial litigation and arbitration matters originating in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America as well as cross border disputes arising from the British Virgin Islands and the Caymen Islands. While at AG, Paul will drive the firm's efforts to become the leading advisor to companies involved in disputes around cryptocurrency, technology, digital assets and cyber-crime.
Mark Molyneux, Head of Disputes at Addleshaw Goddard, said: 'Paul's arrival brings additional focus and a wealth of experience to our teams who already support clients on these issues. Added to this, his deep international experience in commercial disputes overall supports our strategy of securing additional mandates involving cross practice, multi-jurisdictional teams.'
