New anti-discrimination law from 1 October
Organisations will be banned from discriminating on the basis of age when providing goods, facilities and services as of 1 October, under Pt 3 of the Equality Act 2010.
The new anti-discrimination law must be observed by any individual or organisation providing goods, facilities or services, carrying out a public function or running an association, such as a private members’ club.
