Law firm makes new Head of International Fraud Litigation appointment

Asserson the English law firm, is delighted to announce that Steven Philippsohn has joined the firm as Head of International Fraud Litigation at its London office.

Steven has considerable experience in his field, recognised most recently by his invitation to address the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law next month, on the subject of International Fraud Litigation.

Having founded the firm now known as PCB Litigation in 1979, he built the reputation of PCB up to a tier 1 ranking in civil fraud litigation in both Legal 500 and Chambers. Steven has been retained by governmental, national, and international organisations, and has acted for state enterprises, prominent financial institutions, and other organisations in numerous jurisdictions.

As part of his work in the field of Civil Fraud, Steven was named 2018 Asset Recovery Lawyer of the Year by Who’s Who, and is referred to as one who combines ‘dynamic thinking with two decades of experience at the forefront of international thinking’. Chambers recently selected him as a member of their Spotlight Table, stating that Steven is a world-class asset recovery practitioner and a ‘very accomplished individual’.
