Expansion for B P Collins law firm as three lawyers join the team

Thames Valley and City law firm, B P Collins LLP, is delighted to announce the appointment of three new lawyers. Senior associate, Simone Ganley and associate, Simran Kaur Sehra join its commercial property practice; and partner, Laura Mortimer (pictured) starts in the firm’s family team.

Simone Ganley joins from a Buckinghamshire law firm, where she advised on a broad range of commercial property matters. Bringing 15 years’ experience to the role, Simone will be advising a wide range of clients including PLCs, lenders and private individuals.

Also joining the commercial property practice, Simran Kaur Sehra has been recognised by clients for her 'outstanding service levels,' and being 'a pleasure to work with.'

Family partner, Laura Mortimer, joins from an Oxford law firm, where she acted for high-net-worth clients. Before that, while working for a London firm, she advised many household names, understanding the additional complexities involved in high profile separations. Laura also specialises in pre and post nuptial agreements and has extensive experience in high conflict divorces. Bringing 15 years’ experience, Laura will be working primarily from B P Collins’ Oxfordshire office in Thame.

Simon Deans, senior partner, B P Collins, says: “Our recruitment programme ensures clients and lawyers are at the heart of our strategy. Not only does this guarantee a great service to clients as we employ experienced experts in all areas of law, but it also means that lawyers have the opportunity to own their role and focus on outcomes. With that comes job satisfaction, a sense of being valued and work-life balance.”

Senior associate, Simone Ganley says: 'This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining B P Collins. Its commercial property practice is thriving, and I look forward to helping to drive growth in its key sectors including environment, media, retail and leisure, development, property finance and international clients.'

Associate Simran Kaur Sehra says: 'The breadth of commercial property work undertaken at B P Collins is one of main reasons why I joined. It’s great to be part of such a large team, which is focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for our clients.'

Family partner, Laura Mortimer adds: 'B P Collins’ family practice is widely recognised for its commitment to a constructive approach when resolving family matters. Its excellent reputation in advising high net worth clients on foreign assets, pensions and pre-nuptial agreements and its commitment to delivering the highest standard of service is what attracted me to the firm, and I’m delighted to be working with its highly respected team to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.'
