Firm appoints new head of residential

International lawyers Berkeley Rowe has appointed Hussain Ahmed as a partner and their new head of residential.

Having joined the specialist firm from a top 100 law firm based in the City of London, Hussain has a background acting for companies, investors, high net worth individuals as well as first-time buyers. The new head of residential is well known within the London real estate market as a pragmatic and rational lawyer.

As a result of his background, Hussain has a wealth of experience in acting for lenders as well as buyers, meaning he can use his insights to guide both parties and handle transactions with ease.

Upon his appointment, Hussain commented: ‘I am thrilled to have joined Berkeley Rowe and I am looking forward to developing our residential department to build a team that provides a high-quality service to vendors and buyers in prime London.

‘Our clients believe the sector will need to adapt to meet the changing needs of the market in a post pandemic era, so we are entering an exciting new chapter for the industry and we are committed to delivering bespoke services that exceed the demands of our diverse client base. It is essential that our clients are never treated like just another number.’

CEO Tom Keya added: ‘I am delighted to welcome Hussain to Berkeley Rowe. He is a critical addition to our real estate team during a time where we expect a major bounce back in the market. Hussain’s skillset is one that has been demanded by our client base and thus we approached the very best in the market in terms of client service and user experience. I have no doubt he will play a key role in our firm’s growth in the coming years.’
