Firm recruits residential property expert in Chelmsford

Essex firm Birkett Long has announced the appointment of solicitor Jasmin Patel, a residential property specialist.

Jasmin qualified to practise as a solicitor in 2015, and gained experienced working with law firms around South Essex. She has now joined the firm’s team in Chelmsford, where she will be part of the residential real estate practice. Commenting on her area of specialisation, Jasmin said: ‘Within residential property you are continually learning, and new transactions or issues may arise that you have not dealt with before. Our large team means there’s always someone on hand with the right experience for the situation. Buying or selling property transactions is a huge investment for our clients, and I enjoy guiding them through what can be seen as a daunting transaction. I enjoy the fact that the area of law allows you to interact with a wide variety of people, from international investors to first time buyers.’

Head of Birkett Long’s South Essex residential real estate team Emma Wraight added: ‘We couldn’t be more pleased that Jasmin has joined the team in Chelmsford. She brings with her a multitude of new homes and residential experience. Jasmin is extremely personable and hardworking. We have no doubt that she will further strengthen the team.’
