Legal director joins in Chelmsford

Regional firm Birketts has bolstered the corporate and banking team with the appointment of legal director Devreaux Gravell.

Devreaux previously spent almost ten years with Eversheds Sutherland, where he was principal associate. Now based in Birketts’ Chelmsford office, he will continue to advise borrowers and lenders on all aspects of general corporate lending and real estate finance transactions.

Devreaux commented: ‘I am thrilled to have joined a firm with such a clear sense of purpose and ambition, as well as a strong commitment to growth. I am pleased to share my expertise with the team and have already been involved in transactions being advised on by Birketts which are of the type I was doing in the City.’
