Birketts—Martin Bogie

Legal Director joins Commercial Property Team
Birketts has strengthened its commercial property offering with the addition of Legal Director, Martin Bogie. Martin will bring over 20 years' experience to the firm. He will have a national role, working closely with the firm’s Ipswich and London offices.

 

Martin’s experience extends to the development, funding and investment of and in all asset types including mixed use, residential, industrial, offices, retail, leisure and student housing, with a particular focus on the private rented sector. He is also skilled in large-scale cross border transactions.

Martin has previously acted for a number of landlords and occupiers in the leasing of retail and office property and provided property portfolio management advice, providing legal support on company acquisitions and disposals, restructuring, sales and leaseback transactions.

Of his appointment, Martin said: “The firm has a first-rate commercial property team with an excellent reputation. I am looking forward to playing my part in its continued and future success, supporting a new client base with fresh challenges and settling in to Birketts’ friendly and supportive culture.”
