Firm appoints corporate senior associate
Birketts has recently announced the appointment of Rachel Astill as a senior associate in its corporate team.
 
Prior to joining Birketts, Rachel trained at a Magic Circle firm in London and also worked as senior counsel at the European headquarters of a NYSE listed manufacturing company based in Brussels.

Fluent in French, Rachel has acted for a range of international clients and specialises in a variety of commercial matters including product supply arrangements and transport, warehousing and logistics functions and public company work. In her most recent role Rachel advised managers and business owners on a range of legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings and joint ventures. She also specialises in commercial contracts and shareholder and partnership agreements. 

Commenting on her appointment, Rachel said: ‘I am delighted to join a firm with such a strong sense of values and I look forward to working with the excellent commercial team in order to provide the very best outcomes for our clients. Birketts is renowned for its expertise in the corporate sector and I am excited to embark on this next chapter of my career.’
