Boies Schiller Flexner—Lindsay Reimschussel

Firm strengthens international arbitration team with key London hire

Boies Schiller Flexner has appointed Lindsay Reimschussel as counsel in London, adding further depth to its flagship international arbitration practice. She joins from CMS, where she gained more than ten years’ experience in complex disputes, particularly in the energy and mining sectors.

Reimschussel has acted for both investors and states in proceedings under the ICSID and UNCITRAL Rules, as well as advising on a range of high-value commercial arbitrations. She was recognised by The Legal 500 as a Key Lawyer for international arbitration in 2025. Her appointment reinforces the firm’s standing as a leading advocate in high-stakes, cross-border disputes, and follows the recent additions of Timothy Smyth and Michael Losco in London and New York respectively.

Over the past two years, Boies Schiller Flexner has secured success in six out of six treaty claims, achieving awards and settlements totalling around $550m.

Timothy Foden, co-head of the international arbitration group, said Reimschussel ‘comes highly recommended’ and that her dual experience in commercial and investor-state arbitration ‘further bolsters our international arbitration group’. He added: ‘We are excited to welcome her to the team — plus, it’s always nice to have another American in the office!’
