Firm hires new employment law partner
Private wealth law firm Boodle Hatfield has recently appointed employment law specialist Simon Gorham as a partner. He joined the firm’s corporate team on 24 February 2020 from international law firm Weil Gotshal and Manges, where he held the role of counsel.
Simon started his career as a trainee at Boodle Hatfield before specialising in employment law. Simon has since held senior positions at Taylor Wessing and Forsters.
Simon advises on a wide range of employment law issues across European and other international jurisdictions. Simon provides counsel on senior executive service agreements, terminations and sensitive boardroom issues, as well as the protection of confidential information and post-termination restrictions.
Simon has also advised on the employment aspects of a wide variety of private equity, M&A and outsourcing transactions. Simon has particular experience advising financial services institutions on investigations, whistleblowing, discrimination and other grievances.
