A campaign to pressure the police to bring criminal charges against ministers of state for misconduct in office over Brexit has collected more than 4,000 signatures.

The campaign is being waged by the Wolchover Action Group, a social media-based group which references articles written on Brexit by London barrister David Wolchover. It accuses Prime Minister Theresa May, David Davis, Secretary of State for Exiting the EU, and other senior ministers of deliberately misconstruing the advisory nature of the Referendum and disregarding the constitutional requirements for Article 50.

More than 4,000 people have signed a letter sent to Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick this week, asking her to investigate possible offences of misconduct in office.
