Charanjit Thandi—Douglas Wemyss

Partner promotion in property team

Douglas Wemyss Solicitors, based in Friar Lane, Leicester, has promoted Charanjit Thandi to property partner. The Oxford graduate will now take an active role in growing the department including hiring new staff.

Charanjit started his law career as a paralegal at MHM Solicitors in 2006 before moving  to Premier Solicitors in Bedford where he qualified as a solicitor in March 2010. He moved to Douglas Wemyss at the beginning of 2012. He has a MA in Law from Oxford University and a postgraduate diploma in legal practice from the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.

Sameer Karim, CEO of Douglas Wemyss, says: “We are really excited about the promotion of Charanjit and it seemed like a natural progression for him and the firm especially because of the strong property and conveyancing offer we now have.”
