Charles Russell Speechlys hires Head of Brand Protection

Charlotte Duly has joined Charles Russell Speechlys as head of brand protection in its intellectual property group, after 12 years at Boult Wade Tennant.

Charlotte is a chartered trade mark attorney with over 15 years’ experience in the field of brand protection and enforcement. Charlotte will be responsible for leading the trade mark and design filing, management and protection team.

Mary Bagnall, head of Charles Russell Speechlys’ intellectual property group said: 'With extensive experience in devising and implementing brand strategies for a broad range of national and international businesses, across a variety of sectors, Charlotte is ideally placed to lead our brand management practice. Charlotte will be a fantastic fit for our clients and for the firm and we are delighted to welcome her.’

Of her appointment Charlotte said: ‘I am delighted to be joining Charles Russell Speechlys. I look forward not only to building my practice and growing the brand management team but also to supporting all groups across the firm in providing practical and commercial brand protection advice and assistance to their clients.’
