SRA advice on reducing mortgage fraud

Solicitors could reduce the risk of mortgage fraud by reducing the extent to which they hold client money during conveyancing transactions, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has suggested. The SRA is reviewing its draft conveyancing strategy.
