Team of seven join from Norton Rose Fulbright

Global firm DAC Beachcroft has announced the upcoming arrival of a seven-strong team of insurance specialists, who will join the firm in September from Norton Rose Fulbright.

The team includes insurance litigation partner Kirsty Hick (pictured), who advises on coverage and defence issues in relation to high-value negligence claims against accountants, insurance brokers and financial institutions. She also has particular expertise in warranty and indemnity claims.

In May, former head of Norton Rose Fulbright's EMEA insurance claims team Liam O'Connell joined DAC Beachcroft as head of its global insurance practice in London. He was joined last month by solicitor Tamsin Stott, and the team will now be bolstered by legal directors Rebecca Bailey and Sarah O’Connell, and senior associates Jack Holling, Natasha Marshall and Cathryn Teverson.

Helen Faulkner, DAC Beachcroft's global head of insurance, commented: ‘These strategic hires are pivotal as we continue to expand and strengthen key lines of our global insurance business.

‘Our focus is on delivering high quality advice combined with cutting edge delivery expertise. We are therefore delighted to welcome a team with such a strong reputation in the London insurance market, excellent technical skills and a solid track record of building client relationships. Their arrival further strengthens our skills, experience and expertise and enables us to continue creating sustainable value for the clients we serve. This is a significant development as we drive forward our global insurance ambitions.’
