Deloitte Legal has bolstered the team with the appointment of two partners, Andrew Lilley and Liz Pierson.
Andrew joins the firm’s employment law practice. He began his legal career with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in 1985, before moving to Travers Smith in 1995, where he headed the employment practice and was appointed as managing partner in 2010.
Liz Pierson comes on board from Squire Patton Boggs, where she served as partner advising on executive remuneration, incentives and share schemes. In her new role she will lead Deloitte’s rewards practice, comprising around 20 lawyers.
Michael Castle, UK managing partner for Deloitte Legal, said: ‘Andrew and Liz both have fantastic track records in their respective fields. As we continue to build Deloitte Legal’s presence in the UK, we are determined to hire the very best talent in order to provide our clients with best-in-class service.
‘Andrew and Liz’s knowledge of employment law and reward will add to a wealth of expertise across Deloitte, providing clients with technology-enabled, practical solutions to tackle the complexities they face.’
