DWF—Ann Frances Cooney

Firm welcomes head of employment for Scotland

DWF has appointed Ann Frances Cooney as partner in its employment practice in Scotland.

Joining from Addleshaw Goddard, where she was a legal director and head of the Glasgow employment team, in her new role at DWF Ann Frances will lead the Scotland employment practice from her base in the Glasgow office.

Ann Frances is widely experienced in advising on TUPE issues and workforce restructuring, industrial relations and strike action, enforcing restrictive covenants, employment fraud, international mobility and discrimination, as well as disciplinary, performance and ill health management. She is an experienced litigator and regularly appears in employment tribunals across the UK.

Joanne Frew, UK head of employment at DWF, said: 'I am delighted that Ann Frances is joining DWF to lead our employment practice in Scotland. Her experience and reputation in the market aligns with our business' deep pedigree in supporting clients though a huge range of employment matters.
