Firm strengthens commercial team in Manchester with partner appointment

DWF has appointed Chris Air as a partner in its commercial team in Manchester. He joins from DAC Beachcroft and brings experience advising clients on technology and data protection matters across a range of sectors.

Air has particular expertise in supporting businesses with the procurement and delivery of IT solutions, alongside advising on data protection issues. He also advises clients on the legal and regulatory implications of deploying artificial intelligence and navigating evolving compliance requirements.

The appointment forms part of DWF’s continued investment in its commercial practice as the firm looks to expand support for clients facing complex business and regulatory challenges.

Air said: ‘I am delighted to be joining DWF at such an exciting time for the business and the department.’ Wayne Lawrence, head of the commercial practice at DWF, added: ‘Chris is an excellent addition to our team and brings significant experience advising clients on a wide range of commercial, technology and data matters.’
