Esther White—Charles Russell

New addition for pensions team

Charles Russell LLP has appointed Esther White as senior associate in the firm’s pensions team.

Esther has over 10 years’ pensions experience advising companies and trustees on all aspects of pension law, including issues arising from corporate re-structuring, mergers and acquisitions and auto enrolment.

Esther’s experience, developed through many years’ experience as a barrister, a partner and more recently professional pensions trustee, includes complex scheme funding arrangements and liaising with the Pensions Regulator and the Pension Protection Fund. She also has experience of equalisation issues and advising in relation to individual member matters.

Esther has joined Charles Russell from Independent Trustee Services Limited and will work closely with Michael M Jones and Andrew Benson, being instrumental in expanding the firm’s pension’s capability.

Michael M Jones, partner in the pensions team at Charles Russell LLP, says: “Esther’s arrival is a testament to the firm’s dedication to expanding pensions offering. Esther brings significant experience in advising corporates and trustees in all aspects of pensions law and, as a former pensions trustee gives the team a greater understanding of our client’s needs. We are delighted to have recruited such a name in the pension industry, she is a great addition to the team and we look forward to working with her.’’
