Legal tech provider welcomes head of learning & development

Legal technology provider F-LEX has bolstered the management team with the appointment of Sophie Gould as head of learning and development.

Sophie (pictured, left) has spent the past decade with LexisNexis, where she spearheaded the development of LexisPSL In-House Advisor. She has more than 25 years of experience in the legal sector; as well as working as a solicitor with Allison & Humphreys, she has also served as head of legal at Virgin Communications and Ginger Media Group.

Mary Bonsor (right), CEO of F-LEX commented: ‘The legal market is changing radically as firms realise the value in harnessing technology to improve service and efficiency. Sophie has seen the sector evolve and brings with her a wealth of unique knowledge and skill. She will help ensure that our paralegals and junior lawyers are getting access to good training opportunities.

‘We’re delighted to welcome her to the F-LEX family and look forward to seeing Sophie’s ideas in action as the business continues to scale up.’

Sophie added: ‘I am passionate about supporting legal experts and the businesses they advise to work together to achieve the best outcomes. F-LEX proves that any sector can benefit from innovation—even one with traditions as deep-rooted as the legal industry.

‘Its innovative technology platform and impressive client portfolio is testament to the quality of service F-LEX provides. The company is on a very exciting journey and it’s fantastic to be a part of it.’
