Faegre Drinker—two promotions

London team announces double partner promotion

Law firm Faegre Drinker has announced the promotion of Wayne Beck and Buvini Kularatne to partners in the London office.

In June 2020, Wayne and Buvini were part of a five-strong group to join the firm’s London office from Sidley Austin, working alongside restructuring partners Patrick Corr and Jim Conlan. Both Wayne and Buvini are widely experienced in advising debtors, creditors, insolvency practitioners and distressed investors on contentious and non-contentious, cross-border financial restructurings, corporate recovery and turnaround matters.

‘Wayne and Buvini are tremendous additions to our partnership in the UK,’ said Alex Denny, office leader of Faegre Drinker’s London office. ‘They are important members of our industry-leading restructuring team, and their promotions are a testament to the firm’s continued commitment to the growth of our London operations and global platform.’

Wayne and Buvini’s promotions came alongside the news that 15 further members of the firm have also been promoted to partner across its US offices.
