Forum of Insurance Lawyers—new members

Forum welcomes two new law firm members and three new trade and industry partners

The Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL) continues to grow its influence across the insurance legal market, and the insurance sector more broadly, with two new law firm members and three new trade and industry partners.  

The law firms are Beale & Co, McFarland Graham McCombe with Questgates, CEERisk and The Surveillance Group joining as Trade and Industry Partners. FOIL’s continuing growth ensures the defendant insurance market is well supported across its lobbying, educational and networking needs. Additionally, the organisation and its members, continue to be at the forefront of new challenges and opportunities in the market as FOIL provides open links between law firm members, insurers and other organisations.  

FOIL’s CEO, Laurence Besemer FCII (pictured) commented: 'FOIL continues to adapt to the rapidly changing needs of all members and the insurance industry. Throughout the pandemic FOIL has maintained its long term expansion programme as well as responding at pace to the extraordinary challenges faced by our members. We will continue to work closely with individuals and member firms serving the UK, London and Ireland insurance markets to ensure FOIL is at the forefront of responsible lobbying, education and networking, while providing an important platform for conversations between members, insurers and other organisations about the fundamentally changed business environment.'
