Probate research specialists take home Paralegal Business of the Year award

Probate research firm Fraser and Fraser has celebrated its success after winning the Paralegal Business of the Year award at the inaugural National Paralegal Awards on 29 March.

The judging panel, which included senior figures from across the legal industry, said of the specialist genealogy and international probate research firm: ‘This is an impressive business on a number of fronts. It is a long-standing, well-established firm with a commitment to client service and to the community.’

Fraser and Fraser partner Neil Fraser also said: ‘It’s fantastic to be recognised as Paralegal Business of the Year, especially given the impressive organisations that were also nominated in the category. The firm is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, which makes this award doubly welcome.’

‘It’s very satisfying for everyone in the firm to be recognised in this way for all their hard work and professionalism and the fact they are always ready to go the extra mile for their clients.’

Rita Leat, managing director of the Professional Paralegal Register (PPR), which launched the awards, added: ‘Achieving the award of Paralegal Business of the Year is incredible as the standard was so high. The independent judging panel was impressed with the work undertaken at Fraser and Fraser, and the PPR is delighted that the winner takes regulation seriously with all of its qualifying staff holding Paralegal Practising Certificates.’
